Artists are commonly known to say that they have a hard time parting with some of their works as they are acquired by private collectors. This may have been the case for Tabone with OM [item 07], judging by the creation of V in 2019, immediately after the 2015 work was acquired for a private collection in Dresden following the Ostrale Contemporary Art Biennale that summer.

While arguably not as visually striking as OM, it is quite evident that V is almost created as one of a series of works through the same technique. This involves forceful intervention on a small sheet of transparent plexiglass and then applying red and silver acrylic to the impacted surface area. V is meant to be a free-standing object. The most striking visual effect that it is able to produce can be seen when it is exposed either to direct sunlight or by having a bright light shining above it at a high angle.
